The downward pull

The inward pull

Away, away

from the world

in to what?

out of what?

Away from the centre of 

the world 

And

into the Centre of my Self

I despair of anything

But that is OK

it is ok

it is ok

the pull — 

outward

inward —

away from Life

yet toward the Source

of Life

Between Homes

I have no Home

A Hope

A Hope for what?

A Hope for Hope

Maybe

But what if that’s not enough?

ok, ok, ok,

A Hope for Hope for Hope

Enough?

It’s got to be.

All beginnings

All endings

But right now the feeling 

of ending eclipses 

delight

daylight

initially goodness

vitality

goodness

hope

Yes, but can God be truly eclipsed?

Well, I want to say yes,

but I know God is 

Everywhere

and sometimes it is in darkness that 

God speaks the loudest.

God, for your sake!

What am I going through?

You are going through your Self

the dark rooms 

and the dark passages

the places in between are often dark

they are often confusing

they are often heart-wrenching

The heart craves connection

yet you find yourself

in between 

torn

pulled 

into 

two

or more?

two, what about one?

two

to?

to your Self.

The world exists for you to learn and grow.
